Birding basics for beginning birders.
Learn some tips to build skills in finding and identifying birds. Afterwards, we'll take a walk around the Day Use Area on the lookout for birds.
Meet at the HQ flag pole at 3 p.m.
Bring your binoculars, bird identification guide, water, and sunscreen.
Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee ($4 per persons ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass). No need to register—just show up!
