CCC Boys: Their Stories

Learn how Bonham State Park was built and how the Boys lived in the CCC camps.

Come and hear stories of the CCC from the men who were there and how it changed them. See through their eyes what The Depression was about and how the CCC did more than build parks. It saved lives. If the weather is favorable, hike or stroll with the park rangers to see some of the structures the Boys built.

Meet at the Lakeside Pavilion.

Bring- Hiking stick, water, and bug spray.

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register—just show up!
