Join with the ranger on a show and tell hike about our native pollinators.
Autumn brings the fall migration of many species including the State Insect, the Monarch Butterfly. Find out how to attract these pollinators at home. This short hike explores the park from a different viewpoint. While it is late in the season for many flowers, if there has been any rain, the native flowers will bloom one more time before winter arrives. Other plants only bloom in the fall. Search for those first signs of wildflowers that migrating pollinators need for their southward journey.
What to bring- camera and water, hiking stick is optional.
