Join us for a talk about our slithery friends, the snakes!
Life is rough when most people are scared of you, but it doesn’t seem to faze most snakes here at Brazos Bend State Park! These cold-blooded reptiles are even cooler once you learn all about their amazing adaptations. Join us to learn all about one of nature’s most magnificent creatures and meet a special guest up close and personal!

This is an Eco-Explorers event!
Eco-Explorers is a fun-filled educational event taking place every Thursday in June, featuring hands-on educational programs geared toward children ages 6 and older. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate in Eco-Explorers. Eco-Explorers is free to attend (after entry fee payment at the entrance of the park).
Things you will need to bring:
- Entry fee: $7 per person aged 13 and older
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Closed-toed shoes
- Re-usable water bottle
- Your sense of adventure!
