Join us to take a good look at wildlife in the park!
Brazos Bend State Park is full of impressive creatures just waiting for you to discover! Let's see how many we can view through one of our spotting scopes from atop the observation tower at the intersection of 40 Acre Lake Trail and Spillway Trail.
Join us at the observation tower at 40 Acre Lake to get a closer look at the wildlife around one of our most active lakes and get a glimpse of the interesting lives of the animals that live at Brazos Bend State Park.
What to bring:
- Entry fee ($7 per person)
- Water bottle
- Clothes appropriate for the weather
- Close-toed shoes
- Sunscreen
- A hat
- Binoculars (optional)
