Fireside Folklore

12:00p to 1:00p
Wed, June 19, 2024
Jessica Bullard
(979) 553-5123

Join us around the fire each month as we discuss the stories, myths, and legends of one of the many cultures that have shaped our world!

*NOTICE*: Heat advisories will already make us feel like we are on fire, so no actual fire will be present at this special Juneteenth Edition of Fireside Folklore!

Throughout history, the fireside has been a place where stories are told, cultures are shared, and legends are passed down through the ages. Join us at the Nature Center as we delve into folklore and storytelling by firelight from the cultures that have shaped our world.

Join us as we dive into African-American history and folktales in celebration of Juneteenth!
