Learn the basics of birding like how to use binoculars, what books and apps are helpful, how you can bird in your own backyard and then use our skills to find birds in the park. 

Meet at the canoe barn Lake parking area. 

Bring: Bottled water, wear closed toe shoes, and binoculars if you have them. There will be binoculars that we can loan out for those that do not have them. Have the free birding apps: eBird and Merlin downloaded to your phone prior to arriving. 

This program is free after park entrance fee is paid.
