Naturalists: Then & Now - Guided Hike

Do you like watching the birds and bugs? Do you enjoy stopping to smell the roses and sharing pictures of them with your friends? Do you have a young explorer in your life? If so, this hike is for you!
Join a Texas Master Naturalist to explore different ways to see the world around you and learn how Naturalists from the past documented discoveries without the technology we have today!
Meet: Winding Woodland- Blue trailhead across from the walk-in sites.
Find hike leader Kathy wearing a Master Naturalist name tag near the large Trails Map Sign at the parking lot.
Bring: Close toed shoes, water, sunscreen, a naturalist notebook if you'd like
Distance/Difficulty: Moderate - elevation changes and uneven terrain, and steps. 1 to 1.5 mile guided hike should last around an hour to an hour and a half.
All ages are welcome!
Program is free after park entrance fees have been paid. Park Entrance Fee is $5 per adult. Children 12 years of age and under are free!
