Step back in time at Fort Griffin Living History Days!
Experience the sights, sounds, and stories of the Texas frontier at Fort Griffin State Historic Site on Oct. 10–11. For two days, living historians will bring the fort to life as it was in the late 1800s with engaging demonstrations of frontier living, chuckwagons, longhorn cattle, artillery and infantry drills, flag ceremonies, and more.
Friday, Oct. 10 – School Day: Students are invited for an immersive educational experience. (Teachers and homeschool groups, call (325) 762-3592 to register.)
Saturday, Oct. 11 – Public Day: Enjoy all the living history plus extra activities for adults, including live music, food trucks, and a Texas Forts Trail wine festival.
Time: 9 AM – 4 PM both days
Location: Fort Griffin State Historic Site
Admission: $10 for adults | Free for kids and school groups
