Choose your adventure at our 1st annual Caddo Adventure Day! Fish, paddle, hike, paint, explore, learn, and more all inside our beautiful park!

Accessibility: Close parking will be available at Saw Mill Pond. Overflow parking will be available at the Fire Pit/Day Use Area with a short hike down. Restrooms are located at Saw Mill Pond. Portable toilet available at Boat Ramp. Drinking water is available at fill station outside of the front office and multiple water spigots near Saw Mill Pond. No drinking water available at Boat Ramp. Path to activities consists of pavement, sidewalk, grass, and packed dirt. Hiking consists of moderate terrain with multiple steps and trip hazards.

Program Expectations: Choose your adventure inside Caddo Lake State Park!

Confirmed booths and activities (subject to change):

  • Texas Forest Service with Smokey Bear
  • Local Wildlife Biologist (Skins and Skulls)
  • Inland Fisheries (Electrofishing Boat)
  • Cypress Basin Chapter Texas Master Naturalists
  • Guided Hikes (11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.)
  • Art in the Park (Watercolors and Gyotaku Print)
  • Fishing
  • Canoe Paddling

  • Caddo Lake Wildlife Management Area
  • Greater Caddo Lake Association

When: 10 - 3 p.m.

Where: Boat Ramp & Saw Mill Pond

What to bring:

  • Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses
  • Bug Spray

Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
