Experience our Saw Mill Pond under the Sturgeon Moon!
Accessibility: Parking will be available at Saw Mill Pond. Restroom is available nearby. Drinking water is available at water spigot. Path to program is pavement and concrete sidewalk. Kayak/canoe launch is rough terrain with unlevel ground and tree roots.

Program Expectations: THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER PADDLING CLASS! Program will consist of a brief safety instruction and presentation prior to getting on the water. After safety and presentation, we will launch into the Saw Mill Pond. We will stay in Saw Mill Pond at ALL TIMES! It is illegal to paddle without the proper lights attached to your vessel due to your safety and others'. So, we will not be leaving Saw Mill Pond for this program. Bring a light source (lantern, headlamp, etc.) just in case the moonlight does not provide enough safe lighting. Expect the possibility of getting wet so bring clothes and shoes you do not mind getting wet.
When: 8 - 9 p.m.

What to bring:
- Kayak/Canoe/Paddle/Lifejacket/etc.
- LIGHT SOURCE (Lantern, Headlamp, etc.)
- Water
- Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses
- Bug Spray
- Water shoes/boots
- Clothes you do not mind getting wet
Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
