Experience Caddo Lake at night! Find out who and what all comes out after the sun goes down!
Accessibility: Parking will be available at Saw Mill Pond. Restroom is available nearby. Drinking water is available at water spigot. Path to program is pavement and concrete sidewalk.
Program Expectations: PARK WILL BE DARK. Program will consist of multiple activities including "mothing", star gazing, scorpion/centipede search, and owl prowl. UV flashlights, regular flashlights, and headlamps will be provided. Please do not bring SUPER BRIGHT white lights. This will negatively affect participants' experiences. All activities will be guided by a ranger. Please do not go off on your own with park equipment. *Some wildlife becomes more active at night. While this is great for experience, safety precautions are at a high. Snakes, skunks, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats, biting insects, tripping, and many other hazards may present themselves during the program. Please stay with ranger at all times if you are not familiar with these hazards.*

- Flashlight (red light is best)
Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
