Come celebrate the solar eclipse with us!

Accessibility: Parking will be available at Fire Pit/Day Use Area. Portable toilets will be provided. Drinking water is available at fill station outside of the front office and water spigots nearby. Path to program is flat grass and pavement.

Program Expectations: Program will consist of watching the solar eclipse. Maximum (99.5%) will be reached around 1:45 p.m. DO NOT look directly at sun without proper eyewear, even at maximum! Telescope and activities will be provided. Please be courteous of others. Daytime wildlife may be confused. Birds may begin to roost, night time insects and frogs may begin calling, and other possible factors. Temperature will noticeably drop. Sky will get dark. Expect traffic and delays.

  • Bug Spray
  • Solar eclipse glasses
  • Chair

Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
