TX Pollinator BioBlitz (Ranger Guided)

Join us in this statewide BioBlitz to record as many pollinators as we can for continued conservation efforts!
Accessibility: Parking will be available at Pine Ridge Trailhead. Restroom is available at front office. Drinking water is available outside front office. Path to program is pavement and concrete sidewalk. Program may consist of moderate terrain and multiple hazards along trail.
Program Expectations: Program will consist of learning how to use iNaturalist to record data for conservation efforts and a brief hike to demonstrate the application. We will be focused mainly on pollinators but plants, fungi, and other animals are also encouraged to be documented while on the hike!
When: 9 - 10a
Where: Pine Ridge Trailhead
What to bring:
- Smartphone (w/ iNaturalist app pre-installed and account set up)
- Water
- Bug Spray
- Sunscreen/Sun Protection (Hat, sunglasses, long sleeves, etc.)
Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
