The Path of a Bison

Learn about the history of the Texas State Bison Herd and walk along the same paths they venture with a ranger!

We will check out a path the TSBH have made in these canyons and see where they’ve left their mark. Learn about the history of the herd and how these creatures benefit this landscape!

Where: Wild Horse Campground - Dirt Parking Lot before the green gate.

Bring: Water and comfortable footwear. Dress for the weather.

Cost: This event is free with park admission, $5 per person 13 and older. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
