Boots on the Trail: Veterans Hike and Resource Fair

Get your boots ready for a fun day of movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection at Cedar Hill State Park.
Lace up your boots and hit the trail with us at Cedar Hill State Park for a day of hiking, camaraderie and community resources. After the hike, stick around for the Resource Fair where you can engage in wellness activities, connect with local military and veteran-focused organizations offering support and services. Whether you’re looking to unwind, meet others, or explore support options, this event is for you. Don't miss this opportunity to get out, get active, and get connected!!
What to Expect:
• 🌿 Guided Hike through Cedar Hill’s scenic trails
• 🧘♂️ Yoga for all levels
• 👢 Line Dancing – fun and beginner-friendly!
• 🛠️ Veteran Resource Fair with local organizations
Intermediate Trail:
The location of this trail will be determined during the week of the event due to the unusual rainy season in the area.
Shoreline Trail:
Shoreline Trail is a paved 1-mile, accessible trail that winds along the shoreline near the parking and picnic area, offering scenic views of the lake and dam.
Penn Farm: Self-Guided Hike that is accessible throughout the event
Penn Farm Trail is a 0.6-mile family friendly gravel trail. This trail can be used in both directions and is listed as having an easy physical activity rating. Of note, this trail also provides a lot of shade while walking.
