Home on the Plains: Penn Farm Tour

Living life on the Texas prairie was always an adventure!

North Texas winds and summer heat without all the creature comforts we have today. Come out for this ranger led program as we explore the lives of the first farmers to inhabit what is now known as the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and investigate the lives of the Penn family and their farm. This walk will be about 0.6 miles along the Penn Farm trail.

Bring water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!

Cost is free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
