First Day of Fall Hike

Join a ranger for a guided hike along the edge of Joe Pool Lake.

Fall is finally here, and with the change of seasons come changes in our plants and animals! Take a stroll down our paved Shoreline Trail with one of our rangers and learn the science behind the Fall season.

When: Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024 from Noon-1:30pm
Where: Shoreline Trailhead at North Day Use Area
Bring: Water, and a snack if you need one.
Wear: Good shoes for walking and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
