Fishing 101

Come learn how to fish at Cedar Hill State Park!

During this ranger led program we will explore the different equipment used in fishing, what fish we can catch here at Cedar Hill, and the different habitats these fish live in. Fishing is a great way to relax and connect to nature and it can be as easy as tying your shoe! 

Registration is required: email Thomas McDaniel with your name as well as the number and age of participants to make your reservation for this program.

Bring water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather! 

Cost is free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
