Come out to learn the basics of animal tracking on this ranger-led hike!
Whether they’re walking, gnawing, rubbing, or…scatting, animals leave behind many signs that tell us what they are doing in their habitats. Join us with Ranger Mikaila as we explore the marks left behind by animals and how we can use them to identify the wildlife around us! During this ranger-led program, we will walk Penn Farm searching for animal markings in the Blackland Prairie ecosystem.
When: March 23rd, 2024 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
Where: Penn Farm Agricultural Center.
Wear: Good shoes for walking and dress for the weather!
Bring water and a snack if you need one.

Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
