Weather or Not, Here it Comes!

Join us as we learn about weather and how it and climate affect all living organisms on Earth.

Climate affects nearly every aspect of our lives, from our food sources to our transport infrastructure, from what clothes we wear, to where we go on holiday. It has a huge effect on our livelihoods, our health, and our future. Join us for snacks and activities on this Ranger led talk as we learn the science of meteorology. Topics will range from learning the difference between climate and weather. The six main components that make up weather. How to recognize weather patterns and make your own predictions. Along with how weather and climate affect all living organisms on Earth.

When: Saturday, April 6th, 2024 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. 

Where: Scout Hill, in North Day Use Area.

Limited seating provided: Bring a camp chair or blanket if you have one.

Bring:  Water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!

Cost: Free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass or Parkslands Passport for free and/or reduced entry. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
