A Piece of Texas History: Traditional German Pretzel Making Class
Happy Oktoberfest! Join us for a pretzel making course and an exploration of German, Texan and Tejano History.
Oktoberfest is a large German-American and Germanic cultural festival that begins on September 20th and ends on October 5th.
Where: Dining Hall
When: 10am until we finish
What: Pretzel Making!
Wear: A dirndl or Liederhosen if you have them! Otherwise, normal clothes.
Families traditionally make crafts, pretzels, sweets and prepare to celebrate the harvest. (Sorry, no alcohol-- it's a state park!)

Accessibility: Parking will be outside of the Nature Center/Gym. Restroom is down the hall, outside and inside. The recreation complex is wheelchair accessible; the dining hall has a high table for prep work, let us know if you need a lower table set up to accommodate you.
This program is included in park entry fees. Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on this website, or you can call park headquarters.
