Introduction to Fishing

Kids and grownups can fish together this summer off the bank of Choke Canyon State Park! Poles are provided. No fishing license is needed.

Poles are provided to teach people about the basics of bank fishing.

Due to lake levels, this program is being tested out for feasibility this summer. It is a mile hike to get down to the water, with no shade:

Bring water, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen and umbrellas.

This program is NOT accessible for anyone with mobility issues or wheelchair users.
