Make Your Mark with Art in the Park

Come relax, unwind and record your time at Choke Canyon State Park with a piece of art!

Great for kids and adults! Art pieces may be featured (with your permission) on our Facebook page!

This event will be:

• free with normal park entry fees
• held in the air-conditioned gym/nature center area

Supplies are provided and must be returned by noon.

You are able to: 

• come and go as you please,
• use the outside recreation space as an artistic muse,
• use our restroom facilities

Art supplies provided include:

• paintbrushes
• acrylic paint
• drawing paper
• crayons/Twistables
• watercolor markers (ideal for kids)
• air-dry clay
• copy paper
• string
• pipe cleaners
• paper plates and cups
• popsicle sticks

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the gym or nature center and must be on a leash at all times.
