Join TPWD Coastal Fisheries staff to learn more about the Oyster Boat License Buyback Program and how you can submit your application.

The 7th application period for the Oyster Boat License Buyback Program will be opening on January 18th. The commercial license buyback program offers a voluntary approach to reducing the total number of licenses in the fishery to allow for a long-term viable and stable oyster fishery. The purpose of this workshop is to assist oyster boat license holders with the buyback application process and answer any questions they may have regarding the oyster buyback program process. This is a free webinar, but registration is required.
