Birding basics for beginning birders -

Learn some tips to build skills in finding and identifying birds. Afterwards, we'll take a walk on the lookout for birds.

Meet at Bluebonnet Parking Lot by the restrooms at 2 p.m.

Bring: your binoculars, bird identification guide, water, and sunscreen. No need to register—just show up!

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register—just show up!
