Weather cancellation - Nocturnal wanderings among the nocturnal during the Hunter's full moon.
Join us for an evening walk around the Bluebonnet Day Use Area. What is making that noise? Conquer your after-dark fears, learn about nocturnal neighbors like raccoons, skunks, bats, and owls, and listen for coyotes that call in the night.
Meet: Bluebonnet Day Use Parking Lot at 8 p.m.
Bring: Red filtered flashlight, bug spray, and a water bottle, and dress for the weather.
Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee ($5 per persons ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass). No need to register -- just show up!
