Become a nature detective as we examine teeth, fur, and bones to learn how these creatures eat, move, and live right here in our park. This is a fun, educational experience for visitors of all ages. Come learn how to read the clues nature leaves behind and gain a new appreciation for the animals that live all around us — even if you don’t always see them!
Prepare:
This is a seated, interactive program held outdoors; this program is a come and go. It’s great for families, individuals, and curious minds of all ages. Kids especially love this one!
Bring:
Water, curiosity, and questions. Cameras and nature journals welcome.
Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register—just show up!
