Stargazing

How many constellations can you name? Have you ever seen the Milky Way or the rings of Saturn?

Park at the Pelican Point Day Use Parking Lot and meet at the swim beach at 8:30 p.m. Join us as we explore the night sky. We’ll have the telescopes out for viewing a planet and other amazing night sky objects.

Bring: your red lens flashlight, binoculars and dress for the weather.

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register—just show up!
