Becoming a Junior Ranger

Learn how to become a Junior Ranger and earn your badge!

Ever wondered what it takes to become a Junior Ranger? Do you have what it takes? Come find out. Open to ages 6 - 12 years old.

We'll meet at Headquarters at 2 p.m. 

Dress for the weather. Bring refillable water bottle. 

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register—just show up!
