Fishing with the Ranger

Need some new fishing stories? Join a ranger learning the basics of fishing. All ages and stages welcome.

Meet at the Heron Harbor fishing wall at 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. with your own pole, or borrow one of our loaners! No experience required!

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee ($5 per persons ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass). No need to register -- just show up!
