(CANCELLED for 4/26/25) Star Walk

The 4/26/25 Star Walk has been cancelled due to expected storms. Observe the stars and planets through a telescope at Copper Breaks!

From the moon to distant galaxies, and everywhere in-between, join a ranger and our volunteers on an exploration of the stars. Visitors will get a tour of the evening sky, and then get the opportunity to view some of the more interesting objects through a telescope.

Bring: Comfortable clothes, water, bug spray, and a lawn chair 

Meet: Dark Sky Viewing Area, at the Equestrian Trailhead

Program is free with paid park entrance fee or Texas State Park Pass.  This program may be cancelled due to inclement weather or unforeseen reasons.
