Solar Eclipse Watch Party

Join us at our Dark Sky Viewing area to watch the solar eclipse!

The eclipse will begin at ~12:30 pm, and will reach its peak at ~1:40 pm with 91% coverage of the sun in our area. We will have a limited number of FREE eclipse glasses and pinhole projectors to hand out, so bring your own eclipse glasses if you have them!

The Dark Sky Viewing area offers little to no sun protection, so appropriate clothing, sunscreen, a hat, and lots of water is recommended.

Bring: A lawn chair, hat, water, sunscreen, eclipse glasses.

Cost: Program is free with cost of park entry. Free entry is available to Texas State Park Pass holders and children 12 and under.
