Desert Mindfulness Walk
On this meditative nature walk, you will learn the 7 principles of mindfulness through the ecology of the Chihuahuan desert. (please email charles.ewing@tpwd.texas.gov if you plan to attend)
Join a local master naturalist and meditator on this mindfulness walk along the Seep Trail on the primitive side of the park. You will learn the key strategies of being "mindful", which plugs you back into the present moment. This practice helps reduce stress, regulate emotions, and foster a deeper connection to your surroundings & other people. The walk typically takes 1.5 - 2 hours. The terrain is flat with one dry, rocky creek crossing.
