Desert Plant Discovery Walk

Take a guided tour around the Front Office to learn about common Chihuahuan Desert plants .

The Chihuahuan Desert is a hard place to call home, but many plants have adapted to this rugged terrain. Come learn about some of our favorites growing around the Front Office.

Bring: walking shoes, water, hat, sunscreen

Cost: free for campers, Indian Lodge guests, or day users w/ permit - daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass.
