Enjoy an evening program with interpreters from Fort Davis National Historic Site. A variety of topics will be covered every Saturday through early August.

One of our summer traditions is hosting interpreters from neighboring Fort Davis N.H.S for evening programs at the amphitheater. Their topics include: the Lives of Buffalo Soldiers, Women of the Fort, Civil War History, and Old-Time Cooking. These seasoned pros know how to throw a fun program!

Meet: at Amphitheater - parking available for 25 vehicles (in case of bad weather, meet at Interpretive Center)

Bring: water, hat, cushion for bench seating (or your own chair)

Cost: free for campers, Indian Lodge guests, or day users w/ permit - daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass.

***Please see our current program flyers posted throughout the park, and on our Facebook page and Instagram page to confirm what programs are happening during your visit.
