The dark skies of the Davis Mountains are a perfect place to practice your stargazing skills, and the best tool for getting started is a pair of binoculars. Join park host Mark as he shares his wealth of astronomy knowledge and get your eyes focused on the sky.
Meet: at the amphitheater (near site #22)
Bring: binoculars, flashlight (preferably red lamp), dog-friendly
Cost: free for campers or day users w/ permit - daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass
