Park 2 Park Hike

Join park rangers on a hike from a state park to a national historic site...all in the same hike!

Join park interpreters from Davis Mountains State Park and Fort Davis National Historic Site on a guided hike between two magnificent parks. You will learn all about the plants, animals, and history both sites share. Hopefully we'll scare up some aoudad along the way. The hike will start at the CCC Rock Lookout (far end of Skyline Drive) in Davis Mountains State Park. We will hike over to the observation deck overlooking Fort Davis NHS, then return to our starting point. 

Meet: CCC Rock Lookout (far end of Skyline Drive)

Bring: Sturdy shoes, water, hat, sunscreen

Cost: free for campers or day users w/ permit - daily entrance fee is $6/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass.
