Guided Hike to Sunburst Shelter

Come on a guided hike to the past! Learn about the rock art at Sunburst Shelter.

Requirements: Must have a day pass reservation and must have completed park orientation at Devils River SNA- Dan Allen HQ.

Meet: Overflow parking lot area

Cost: Free with park admission

Hike: Expect to moderately strenuous hike and will hike on loose gravel and over large boulders for about two miles.

Duration: 3 hours

What to bring: dress for the weather and closed-toe shoes, small backpack to carry gear, plenty of water, snacks and walking sticks, bug spray, camera and binoculars.

Tour reminders: There are no restroom facilities nearby rock shelter. You must pack out all trash. No pets are allowed on rock art tours.
