Bring the whole family out to William Blair Jr. Park on June 1st - Texas Free Fishing Day - for a morning of fishing fun!
Learn to cast from TPWD certified Angler Education Instructors. Learn Fish ID, biology, and other fun facts! Attendees are also invited to go fishing at the pond - bring your own equipment or borrow equipment on site.
Come for the fishing and stay for a hotdog lunch!
All children must be accompanied by an adult - no drop-offs please.
No license is required to fish on Free Fishing Day - June 1, 2024
Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, wear sunblock, and bring a water bottle. Water refill stations will be provided.
