Family, Friends & Fishing at Acequia Park

Learn the basics of fishing at this fun, free family event!

Fin Addict Angler Instructors lead this free-to-the-public fishing clinic from 9am to 12pm for children ages 5 to 16. Hands-on lessons cover basic fishing techniques such as casting, setting up gear, and how to fish alone with topics on safety, knot tying, and stewardship. Fishing equipment will be provided.

Preregistraion is requested, but walk-ups are also welcome. Please register here.

Attendees must arrive before 11am. 

Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

No fishing license will be necessary for attendees for the duration of the event.
