Family Fishing Day - Brackenridge Park

Come out to Brackenridge Park to learn the basics of fishing at this fun, free family event!

Join us for this fun, family-friendly day of free fishing! Learn the basics including fishing skills such as casting, use of tackle and bait, fishing regulations and ethics, aquatic conservation and more.

Waterside fishing will also take place with the help of TPWD Certified Angler Education Instructors.

No fishing license will be required for those fishing at the event between 9am and 1pm.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times - No drop-offs please.
