Art in the Park

Spend time in nature and take home your own masterpiece! All supplies provided.

Join a Park Ranger in the Day-Use Area as we take in the scenes around us and record them on paper through art to create your own take-home souvenir! No experience needed; everyone is welcome!

We will provide all art supplies, including paper, colored pencils, and paint for you to use.

Meet: In the Day-Use Area (near Kona Ice) at the picnic tables

Bring: Your creativity! Wear weather-appropriate clothing. Bring water. We will try to be in the shade for this program.

This event is free with the purchase of a Day Pass or an overnight Camping reservation. Reservations can be made online at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. Entry fees are $8 per adult ages 13+, children 12 and younger are free.
