Faltin's Overlook Sunset Hike

Experience the evening with a view from Enchanted Rock State Natural Area's newly acquired Faltin's Property.

Join a ranger for an approximately 2.5-mile round trip hike to Faltin's Overlook. Acquired in 2021, the Faltin addition has not yet been opened to the public. This hike will begin on the west side of Loop Trail, and will take visitors under boulders, over wildflowers, and behind previously unexplored fence lines for an evening adventure. 

Bring: Water, bug spray, long pants, good hiking shoes

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Purchase day passes online ahead of time to guarantee entry.
