Pollinator BioBlitz Intro

What's the buzz? Join a ranger and learn how to use your phone to identify pollinators in your area!
From October 11 - 27, you can participate in the Texas Pollinator Bioblitz. It is an excellent way for everyone to observe and identify pollinators. Join us to learn how to use your phone to find and take photos of these cool, beneficial critters and help scientists!
Bring/Prepare: Sign up for iNaturalist and download their app on your phone. This is optional but recommended. Wear weather-appropriate clothing. Bring water and wear sunscreen.
Location: We will meet at the Rec Hall and observe pollinators in/around the butterfly garden.
Fees: This program is free with paid entry to the park. Park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.
Additional Info:
- Anyone can participate, and no experience is necessary. All ages are welcome.
- No registration is required.
