Astronomy at the Park

Come out and enjoy the wonders of the night sky.

We will have a telescope set up to view the full moon and Jupiter.  Feel free to bring binoculars and/or your own telescope.

Meet at the edge of the lake near the fishing pier.  Dress appropriate for the weather.  A flashlight with a red filter or red cellophane.

Please call the park office to reserve your spot.  Event is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass.  Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and older is $3.00 per person.
