Birding 101

Birding isn't just for the birds. Learn how to identify birds in this beginner program.

We will be identifying some common birds at the park, and discussing the equipment you can use to spot our feathered friends.

Meet at the Pavilion. Dress appropriately for the weather with sturdy shoes. Bring water and binoculars (if you have them). We will have a few pair to loan out.

This event is weather dependent so check back for updates, or go to our Facebook page. Event is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass. Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and older is $3 per person.
