Birds and Bird Feeders

Learn about the birds at Fort Boggy while you make a bird feeder from recycled material to take home.
With the cooler weather, the active birds need more food to burn for heat. Ranger will have art supplies and a few recycled items to make bird feeders. Please bring an empty food container to use as your bird feeder. This can be a 1 or 2 liter bottle, 1/2 or 1 gallon milk container, or butter or sour cream container with lid.
Meet at the Pavilion, and dress for the weather.
Event is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass. Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and older is $3.00 per person.
