Eclipse Watch Party

Come out and experience the eclipse at the park.

We aren't in the totality, but it will be a 99% magnitude!  

We will be viewing the eclipse through more than just a telescope or solar eclipse glasses.  You will be able to view it through household items, pin hole viewers, and nature.  There will also be an art station so you can record what you view.

Bring a toilet/paper towel roll, cereal box or shoe box to make a pin hole viewer.  Also bring water and sunscreen.  A limited supply of solar eclipse glasses has been donated by the Anderson Family.

Please call the park office to reserve your spot.  Event is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass.  Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and older is $3.00 per person.
