First Day Hike - Nature Bingo

While enjoying a hike around the trails, take a look around. It could win you a game of Bingo.

Check in at the office to receive your Bingo card then enjoy the trails at Fort Boggy to fill in the squares. All of the squares will be animals, plants and other things that can be found in the park. Need any help? Ranger Heather will be in the park to answer any questions you may have. When you are finished, head to the pavilion for a snack, warm drink and a prize (while supplies last).

Dress appropriate for the weather with sturdy shoes. Bring water for the trail, and a mug for a warm drink.

Trails at Fort Boggy include:

• Lake Trail (1.0 miles) A moderate trail that has benches.
• Campbell Trail (1.17 miles) An easy trail.
• Leon Prairie Trail (.41 miles) An easy trail that makes a complete loop with the Campbell Trail.

Event is weather dependent so check back for updates, or go to our Facebook page. Event is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass. Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and older is $3 per person.
